PRELUDE
GREETING
INTROIT
Hallelujah (from Christ on the Mount of Olives) — Ludwig van Beethoven Hallelujah unto God’s almighty Son. Man proclaim his grace and glory. Praise the Lord in holy songs of joy.
†OPENING PRAYER
Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life, raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness. Raise us that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
†HYMN OF PROCESSION
#158 Come, Christians, Join to Sing — SPANISH HYMN
†AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is the one true church, apostolic and universal, whose holy faith let us now declare:
We believe in God the Father, infinite in wisdom, power, and love, whose mercy is over all his works, and whose will is ever directed to his children’s good. We believe in Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of man, the gift of the Father’s unfailing grace, the ground of our hope, and the promise of our deliverance from sin and death. We believe in the Holy Spirit as the divine presence in our lives, whereby we are kept in perpetual remembrance of the truth of Christ, and find strength and help in time of need. We believe that this faith should manifest itself in the service of love as set forth in the example of our blessed Lord, to the end that the kingdom of God may come upon the earth. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
BAPTISM
BAPTISMAL RESPONSE
Do you as Christ’s body, the church, reaffirm both your rejection of sin and your commitment to Christ? We do.
Will you nurture one another in the Christian faith and life and include this family, now before you, in your care?
We give thanks for all that God has given you and welcome you in Christian love. With God’s help we will proclaim the good news and live according to the example of Christ. We will surround Campbell with a community of love and forgiveness, that she may grow in her service to others. We will pray for her, that she may be a true disciple who walks in the way that leads to life.
†DOXOLOGY #95 Praise God, from Whom All Blessings Flow — OLD 100th Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; praise God, all creatures here below; praise God above, ye heavenly host; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
†PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING
God of all creation, source of every blessing: you have given us so much. As we bring our tithes and gifts to you this day, these seem so small by comparison, unless we see that we are truly called to give ourselves back to the world. May we be the ones who bring value in relationship with those around us. May we be the ones who show your light to the world. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, who came to help us see all we could be. Amen.
WE GO AS GOD’S PEOPLE INTO THE WORLD
†HYMN #577 God of Grace and God of Glory — CWM RHONDDA
†BENEDICTION
†BENEDICTION RESPONSE
The Lord Bless You and Keep You — John Rutter
The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. Amen. (Numbers 6: 24-26)

SCRIPTURE — Galatians 3:23-28
This is the word of God for the people of God. Thanks be to God.
SERMON — “A Grace Which Clothes Us”
WE RENEW OUR COMMITMENT
Thank you for joining us in worship today.
OFFERTORY
Blessed Assurance — arr. Nancy Wertsch
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of His spirit, washed in His blood. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. Perfect submission, perfect delight, visions of rapture now burst on my sight. Angels descending bring from above echoes of mercy, whispers of love. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.
