CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

TOUGH QUESTIONS: DEATH AND GRIEF

May 4 • 5 pm - 6:45 pm

We hope you’ll join us for Tough Questions as we hear and learn from a panel of experts ways to navigate conversations on death and grief with our children. The cost is $15/person, dinner and free children’s activities for infants-5th graders are provided! Register using the QR code.

VBS 2025

June 16-19 • 9 am-Noon Registration is open! Please note that VBS is a different week this summer than usual! We hope that all 4-year-olds through rising 6th graders will join us for an awesome week where we learn to Trust Jesus in a Wild World! Register using the QR code.

OLDER ELEMENTARY MISSON WEEK

July 22-24 • 9 am – 3 pm

An amazing chance for rising 4th – 6th graders to serve the community through daily mission projects and spend time in fellowship! $45/student, t-shirt, daily activities and more included! Please note this is a different week than when we typically have done OEMW. Register using the QR code – we have a limited capacity.

This summer, all Sundays from May 25-August 10, rising 1st – 6th graders will meet in the community room at 10 am and move down to the art room to experience a bible story through art each week! Rev. BACKPACK PROGRAM STUDENT SPONSORSHIP

Many and endless thanks to those of you who sponsored a student for the 20242025 school year. It’s time to start gathering sponsors for the 2025-2026 school year. For $6.25 a week, you can provide weekend food for a student – that’s about $280 to make it through the school year! The Refresh Prayer Ministry invites you to be refreshed in a mid-week service of worship, reflection, and prayer in a sacred space. From Noon - 12:15 is a time for quiet reflection with music, and from 12:15 - 12:45 is a time for prayer, Scripture reading, and meditation. Lenten Expressions: Glimpses of Grace

Art in the Atrium is proud to showcase our Lenten exhibit, Lenten Expressions: Glimpses of Grace. Featuring the art of Centenary’s new Faith & Artistry class lead by Dr. Steve Martin, we invite you to come, engage with and reflect on images inspired by this most sacred of seasons.

Join us for this collaborative concert including over 130 singers! Featured choirs include the Winston-Salem Choral Artists, Centenary’s Youth Choir Collective, Winston-Salem Choral Academy, and local high school choirs accompanied by the Winston-Salem Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra. Admission is FREE.

This month’s guest speaker is Patrick Pate, Winston-Salem City Manager. We gather at 11:45 and lunch will be served at noon. Luncheon cost is $10.00 and the signup deadline is Wednesday, May 7. The Senior Adult Council will meet briefly in the choir room at 11 am before the luncheon.

This summer, for the first time, our Youth Ministry will team up with our missional partners to serve right here in Winston Salem for a local mission week. Plan to spend June 10-12, 2025 at Centenary and serving each day at these various partner organizations, worshiping together, growing in your faith & friendships, experiencing some incredible evening activities, and witnessing God in our midst right in our own ‘backyard’. Cost for this mission experience is $200 per person. Mark your calendar and watch for registration and more details coming soon!

We’re mixing things up this summer!
