Marketing Highlights

If you’re going to live, leave a legacy. Make a mark on the world that can’t be erased.

Welcome! This past year, we lost a great champion and a dear friend to all of us here at Lakeview Regional. Willie Paretti was an integral part of our leadership team and served for 35 years as Chair of the Board of Trustees. She was a visionary and humble servant and leaves a legacy of care and compassion that will be profoundly missed. As you read through this 2019 Year in Review, you will see some of the things that Ms. Willie brought to our hospital community and things that are instilled in each of us forever. Maya Angelou once said, “If you’re going to live, leave a legacy. Make a mark on the world that can’t be erased.” As you live your life, have you thought about your own legacy? The impact you will leave on your family, your friends and community? Each day, all of you leave your mark on the world here at Lakeview. I could not be more proud of what you do for our patients and for each other.

Willie Paretti Dedication This stained glass window is in loving memory of Ms. Willie Paretti who served as Board Chair for Lakeview Regional Medical Center from 1984-2019. Ms. Paretti had a tremendous impact on our hospital and our community. To memorialize her, we commissioned local New Orleans artist Ms. Ruth Goliwas to create three stained glass pieces in her honor. Each panel takes up to 6 months to produce. The middle panel is shown on the left and the other two panels will be installed soon. The piece has much significance and connection to Ms. Paretti’s life: ∙ The dove on the left panel (not shown) represents her first love, her husband Craig. ∙ Two doves on the right panel (not shown) represent her children Stacey and Craig Jr. ∙ The sun represents Don Petitpain, her ray of light and long time partner. ∙ Sunflowers and tulips were her favorite. - S even sunflowers represent her grandchildren Shelby,

Hadley, Larry, Landry, CJ, Mary and Trent.

 - Thirty-five tulips represent each year of service as Board Chair.
