ederal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan will arrive in Karachi on March 1 (Monday). During his visit to Karachi, he will inaugurate Large Taxpayers Unit-II. Sources of informed Customs Today that decision to establish Large Taxpayers UnitII is taken to further enhance the performance of the FBR to resolve the issues of big industries. announced to establish another Large Taxpayers Unit to facilitate the business community. The inauguration ceremony will be attended by members of the Federation of Cambers of Commerce and Industry. There are chances that Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar may grace the occasion. Meanwhile, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad will preside over the sixth meeting of the Boardin-Council which is scheduled to be held today (February 25). According to the agenda items, the Board-in-Council will adopt the minutes of the board meeting held on February 16, 2016. The BIC will also consider delegation of powers to member legal FBR, job description and powers of member Enforcement.
