hairman Federal Board of Reve n u e (FBR), Nisar Muhammad Khan expressed need to broadening the tax net to increase the revenues for economic stability and growth in the country. “We are committed to simplifying tax system by adopting sci-

the common man. The Chairman FBR said, without the tax collection and broadening the tax net, the government would not be able provide the resources to develop these sectors in the country. He said, welfare state is only possible through the collection of taxes from all sections of the society according to their Tinancial strength to invest these resources for the alleviation of poverty from the country.
