he Intelligence and Investigation unit of the Pakistan Customs has sought cooperation of the National Highway Authority and Motorway Police to curb smuggling.
The Customs authorities held a brief meeting with the high level delegation of the NHA and Motorway Police to seek their help in curbing smuggling and to boost surveillance. The meeting was attended by Customs Intelligence and Investigation Director General Imtiaz Ahmad, senior officers of Pakistan Customs, high ups of NHA and Motorway Police.

During the meeting, all Customs Intelligence, NHA and Motorway Police officers agreed to enhance cooperation, whereas detailed plan was discussed and a strategy was devised to curb smuggling through better relation, increasing surveillance, use of modern hardware and strict action against the involved in heinous crime were also suggested.
