These images were precisely the delightful treasures I suspected would be lurking unseen within drawers and devices. Whether sunlit or sultry, all seem led by a gentle gaze: the slow consideration I hope we set aside to look at one another’s shots.

This zine arrives in the aftermath of an equinox, with approaching April dubbed ‘the cruellest month’. In these images, warm softness sits alongside the bruises of life’s violence. This turning point in the season also brings ambiguity: naked life bursting back into the cold air in a brutal, beautiful rebirth.

Tenderness is broad, but clearly known, and keenly felt.

I hope that we can all try a little.

At 3:00 a.m. they arrested a person in their home.

Since then, that person has not returned. There is no information on where they are kept, why they were arrested and when they will return.

A natural texture is growth and decay, complicating itself into forms defined by grooves, protruberances, divets, crevices.

Autumn simply holds these beautiful collapses, tenderly, for us to sense.
