This area is located next to the Moose head in Hangar Bay 2. USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN-71)

Compartment Reading 01 - is the level or deck of the ship.

SAFETY
118 - is the frame of the ship 1- is the reference to the centerline of the ship, odd #’s are STBD, even #’s are PORT. L - is the type of space your located in.

This yellow sign is referred to as a “Bullseye”, these are located in every space.

MAN OVERBOARD •
When MOB is called away, follow and stay with your sponsor at their designated area.
While transiting with your sponsor: •
Walk fast – Do Not Run
•
Up and Fwd on the STBD (right) side
•
Down and Aft on the PORT (left) side
•
Stay with your sponsor until MOB is secured.

When walking through out the ship please be aware of the knee knockers and closing all doors and hatches behind you.

Latch handle
Properly secured
Be careful and watch for latch handles while transiting through doors. It may fall back down and cause injury to you or your family members.

To prevent a trip hazard, ensure you step high enough over a knee knocker.

Be careful while transiting through the ship, some areas may contain condensation and may be slippery

One step at a time
- Never slide down a ladder. - Closely supervise children when transiting ladders. - Maintain contact with handrails at all times when walking up or down the ladders. USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN-71)

- Always keep a 3-point contact .

Hearing Protection • Foam ear protection will be provided to all guests (single hearing protection) • Guests are encouraged to bring muffs (double hearing protection)
