HANNAH WAKEFORD FASHION STUDENT PACKAGING A collaboration with Emma Cooper in which Emma created all the branding and I joined in to design and create the packaging.

The box was made for fashion student Hannah Wakeford, to submit her design work for her final major project on the Fashion and Design course. The box is designed to fit A3 sized sheets. It is split up into the three sections of Hannah’s work with an outer box to hold them all.
I have used a black stock so to go with Hannah’s branding designed by Emma. The inside boxes are have a sleek glossy finish to represent the high end quality of Hannah’s work, protected by a matt black outer box. I also chose to use a blue stock which matches the colour of the foiling which is a covering sheet to hide the work underneath.

Each of the three sections slide out of the main packaging and become a new box on their own. These three boxes are closed with a wrap around piece which tucks in at the back. They open to reveal the front of the box in full, in order to take out design sheets and place them back in easily. The blue layer co-ordinates with the rest of Hannah’s branding and is there to covers up the design sheets underneath.
