A fourth generation West Coaster, C.W. Buckley lives and works in Seattle with his family. He writes about precious things, and what their loss means for us all. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology before earning an M.A. in Religion after spending two years as a chaplain resident at Stanford Health Care and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. His writing explores geek culture, conscience, faith, and fatherhood. His poems offer gentle witness in powerful images. A contributor to Washington Poetic Routes, he has appeared most recently in Cirque, Dappled Things, Sunspot Literary Journal, the anthology Undeniable: Writers Respond to Climate Change, Timberline Review, Camas, Image Journal, and Catamaran Literary Reader, to name a few. A poetry finalist in the Tiferet 2017 Writing Contest, he is the author of BLUING, a chapbook from Finishing Line Press.
