BILL HENNESSEY In his 30-year career Bill has moved between industry, business and academia developing a deep appreciation of approaches to management and organisation development. Previous posts have included Head of Mgt Training, BBC, Director Management and Organisation Development, The Whitbread Beer Company. He was also Senior Lecturer in HR/OB at Hull and Leicester Business Schools. Bill has worked with a wide variety of clients from the public and private sector most recently ExxonMobil, Environment Agency, Astrium, European Investment Bank, Sun Microsystems, Orascom Telecom, Abu Dhabi Oil Co, Kaufhof, and IMI plc. Projects have included organisation analysis and design, talent management, senior managementdevelopment programmes, assessment / development centres supporting major change projects and individual coaching. Qualifying originally in Industrial Relations and Labour Law, he now works on the positive management of change at the individual, team and organisational levels. He is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and a Chartered Member of IPD. He is a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield School of Management and a Fellow at the Centre for Management Development at London Business School. Bill has also been a speaker at management conferences in Argentina, Finland, USA, UK and China. His own development has been underpinned with significant programmes in OD/HR with The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, University of Columbia and The Institute of Group Analysis and is currently completing a Doctorate in Occupational Psychology.
