Trained in architecture and design thinking with experience in natural sciences, innovation and philanthropy. I use a cross-disciplinary approach to problem-solving that begins with heavy research, concept iteration and refinement, ultimately leading to conceptual design solutions. In particular, I am interested in Biomimicry, or the practice of using nature and biology to inspire design solutions. The biological forms, processes, patterns, and role within an ecosystem are proven techniques to solve nature's problems. Understanding them and applying them to the human design process allows us to provide evidence of a working solution that is often more simple and elegant than expected.
