Saturday morning saw a fine but chilly start to the weekend with a number of volunteers taking to the Blayney Common for a tree planting morning. The plantings took on the ground which has become one of four sites of the “Racing to save the Mount Panorama Woodland” project. Pictured here is local volunteer Lyn Burgett who spent the morning helping to plant more than 200 grasses and shrubs across the site. Full story about the project will appear in next week’s edition.
