BLOOD DONOR CHALLENGE
A brighter future Tomorrow, Friday, August 27 is Daffodil Day, a day organised by the Cancer Council to bring hope to everyone who has been touched by cancer. Blayney resident Frances Leabeater is a cancer survivor who was diagnosed in 2005. Although Frances’s experience with cancer is ongoing she speaks proudly about getting up
every day and just getting on with normal life – “you can’t worry about these things,” she told Photo News. Frances will be selling Daffodil Day merchandise in Blayney tomorrow with members of the Blayney View Club. Other stalls will be open all over the region, including many spots for you to buy Daffodil Day merchandise in Orange.
Every Daffodil Day purchase you make goes towards finding a cure for cancer, so if your mother, father, sister, brother, aunty, uncle, grandparents or best friend have ever had to battle with cancer – go to your nearest stall, make a purchase and you’ll be helping in the fight against this terrible disease.
