GOES GREEN Macquarie Village residents Laura Hodges and Hayley Westoby contributed to the planting of 1690 trees across Charles Sturt University campuses. Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange and Wagga Wagga were involved in a Biodiversity Blitz, a program run by CSU Green. CSU aims to have 20% of university land contributing to increasing biodiversity by 2015.
“We just wanted to help out the environment, make CSU a better looking place and to provide more oxygen to our fellow peers”, says Laura. “We use so much paper printing our assignments, we thought we’d help plant some more paper”, added Hayley.
