Let’s bring the cup back! Since beginning in 1921, the Astley Cup has pitted students from Orange High, Bathurst High, and Dubbo Senior College against each other in a competition like no other! The focus is on students having fun, regardless of whether they are competitors or spectators. Over two weeks students compete in sports such as rugby league, netball, soccer, tennis, and basketball, as well as students tackling the coveted Mulvey Cup debating competition.

The Cup has always been a hard fought competition and this year looks to be no different. Reigning champions Bathurst High will be in Orange today in the hopes that they can repeat last year’s efforts and hold onto the trophy! But given the OHS team’s strength and preparation, there is every chance the silverware will return to Orange! History shows Orange High as the most dominant school in Astley Cup history so let’s get behind our students to bring the cup home to OHS again.
