THE ASTLEY CUP

The 2017 Astley Cup has been run and won, and congratulations to Bathurst High for regaining the coveted trophy. Before taking off overseas and deserting her workmates, OC Life’s Melise Coleman managed to capture some of Orange High’s campaign. As you can see here, the supporters were in full voice during the rugby league game at Wade Park. Many more shots, and of course all your favourite regular goodness, can be found inside this edition of everyone’s favourite community magazine.

Featuring a cast of characters guaranteed to delight: Bunting the butler, an English colonel with the prerequisite stiff upper lip, a shady French art dealer and his moll, a bumbling buffoon of a Police Inspector with his hapless Constable, and a wellmeaning local sleuth who seems to attract murder — they’re all here, and all caught up in the sidesplitting antics which follow the mysterious death of the owner of a country manor house.
