Countdown to White Tie Ball: a night of glitz and glam for a good cause

The sixth annual White Tie Ball is less than three weeks away with the organising team at Housing Plus predicting a great night all in the name of a good cause.
The annual charity ball is an important fundraiser for Housing Plus, with the money raised going to support women and children escaping domestic violence here in Orange.

This year’s ball gets underway at 6pm Saturday, May 20 at the Orange ExServices’ Club, the $140 ticket price getting you a three-course meal and a top night of entertainment.
“We’re looking forward to a really great night!” Housing Plus engagement and volunteer coordinator, Rochelle Monaghan said.
“People have been incredibly generous and we’ve got some great prizes on the night… For entertainment we’ve got Robbie Mortimer, he’s got a band with him as well

– it’s really nice to get up at the end of the night and have a dance, so we’re really looking forward to that!”
Donated items for the live auction on the night include a weekend stay and balloon ride in Canowindra for two, a signed Penrith Panthers jersey, artworks from local artists including Joy Engelman and Tracey Mackie, and a weekend away in Mudgee for up to 10 people.
There will also be ra es on the night or you can try your luck on a mystery prize by purchasing one of the $50 “lucky envelopes” up for grabs.
