Congratulations to the mighty Trojans for winning the A-grade Men’s OBA basketball competition! The Trojans edged out the determined Gladstone Bulls 72-60 in a hard-fought game at Sir Neville Howse stadium. The scores were close up until the fourth quarter, when the Trojans utilized their size advantage to pile on a healthy lead. Trojans big-man Mitch Selwood put an exclamation mark on the win by breaking away for a thunderous dunk in the dying seconds! The game was played in great spirits and highlighted the strength of the Orange basketball scene. The winter comps will start soon, if you are interested in playing in any grade please contact the Orange PCYC.
