Beautiful spring weather, a huge crowd and a striking parade of ladies high fashion and extravagant hats – not to mention some great races – contributed to a highly successful launch at Towac Park for Racing Orange, the new body in charge of thoroughbred racing in Orange. Towac Park came alive again on Melbourne Cup Day, and Photo News’s Chris Bennetts and Derek Maitland were there to capture some of the action and glamour. ENJOY!
