About Rooms
路 Use the placement of the furnitures to divide rooms in same privacy level in order to make the function area clear, rather than by walls or doors.
About The Chamber
路 To ensure the princy of the chamber, the only entrance is a 1 square meter's hole in the gym with a board on it at ordinary times. 路 Under the chamber(height:2m) there's a free space(height:0.5m) which is used as a store area for the show room.
The Other
路 The two ladder stands lead to the roof garden and the roof of the bedroom.

Requirement: Rebuilding of the Shen Yu Li (groups of Shanghai traditional old Residential buildings) as a commercial area
LOCAL CULTURE – SHEN YU LI The Architectural Feature 1 The elevation is organized 2 Main surface: materials are red brick, tile watt, stones, cement。
3 Main colors of the surface: brick-red, tan, dull grey, cement
ANALYSIS AND IDEA Basic Points 1 Entrances:
4 Shen Yu Li：
· Two main entrance are needed on the main road(Tiantong Road) which has A high flow of people. · Residential buildings and offices are mainly located in the east and west where need entrance in different size.
· A site along the river with a good flow of people and excellent visibility os suitable for the rebuilding of Shen Yu Li as a commercial area, · To keep the sense of walking through lanes and alleys in the groups of old buildings, Shen Yu Li need to be rebuilt in order. · The design of supporting facility around is the point of blending in with its surroundings
2 Route： · People who converge on the mall gather to a high spot and then disperse near the river area. · The two lands need to be conect in some way as the requirement.
3 Plant： · Bump house needs to be hided by compact plants. · Tiantong Road as a busy main road needs trees which can resistant to exhaust and nosie.

the origin of cities In ancient times, shanghai is still a part of the sea. Due to the sediment deposit to a new land,and then people started to build house along the river and villages sprung up. Year after year, cities were built with the developing culture and economy.

THE BRIDGE
· The big-view shape of this center green land is depend on the design of the bridge. · The inspiration of the bridge’s curve is from the tributary of the Suzhou River, considering the flow, functions, road, surrounding etc.

The square in front of the shopping mall is to conect the green land and the mall, it can also be used to evacuate people.
2 Ornamental Area
· It lies on the both side of the Tiantong Road to conect the two part of the land. · This area is covered by grass and various ornamental plants,. · It’s can be overviewed on the sight-seeing platform.

3 Entertainment Sunk Square

The square is the most active area in this green land as a place where offers a field with diversified functions for the residents living close. · It can be a shoal water zone with several groups of musical fountains. · It can be a dancing or skating space with smooth and wide pavage.
4 Commercial Pistrict (Shen Yu Li)

It’s an open commercial area, in order to show the rebuilt old architectures of shanghai to the people passing by.
5 Flower Border
The walking rote of this garden is designed in a similar way with Shen Yu Li building group which can bring a sense of walking through.
About the Entrances 路 nine entrances 路 blocks of the Shen Yu Li commercial area is open to the streets 路 most of the entrance to the bridge is gentle stope

At first, this shape of inverted triangular accurred to me liked a kind of urge we always flet when we were young and simple. This shape of the pendant is a symbol of the youth with independence and individuality.
I get inspiration from the traditional dresses and headdresses of Chinese minorities like the serried dots and the traditional colors matching. I mixed some mental colors to add some national flavor.
