Qingdao North Railway Station is a comprehensive transportation hub which assembles subway, national high-speed rail, long-distance bus and bus. However, its surrounding area is very desolate. In response to this phenomenon, this project designed a commercial area around Qingdao North Railway Station to create a destination for eating, drinking and playing.

The design concept of Qingdao North Railway Station is seagull, with East and West as its main facade. The roof is like the wings of seagulls, flying towards the sea.

Location
Traffic line intersection hub
Qingdao North Railway Station is located in an important transportation hub, which is the intersection of Metro Line 8 and Line 3. It is adjacent to Jiaozhou Bay Bridge in the south. It is the entrance of northern Qingdao with convenient transportation. However, it lacks commercial and office facilities and has few vehicles on its wide roads, in stark contrast to the daily traffic jams of the southern district. Due to the imperfect service facilities, this area wastes urban space resources.
Combined with the concept of seagull in Qingdao North Station, the use of waves as a design element echoes the Qingdao North Railway Station and deepens the design elements of Qingdao North Railway Station.
Space diagram Urban problem There are few other buildings within a 10-minute walk. After getting out of the station, people can only choose to take the next transport to leave, which is very inconvenient.

The project aims to provide a “race race” which can stimulate young people for the tough society. They just enter the society and come to such a community and maybe five or even ten years later, they will eventually leave here one day. What I expect is that every young person who will leave here will become a fighter with a clear direction and enthusiasm to face the future.
The project is located in Shenzhen, a city with the fastest growing economy in China, and I choose a village in the city to create a coliving cluster. cluster
Concept
Everyone can become an elite in his favorite field. However, many people don’t find themselves in their youngest and most energetic time, or they don’t have access to gaining more information, thus they bury their talents. If they can all engage in their favorite careers, then the speed of social development and progress will be greatly increased.
13
Site Analysis:
Site Analysis: The distributed location of the village in the Shenzhen city Although Shenzhen’s economic development is rapid, the speed of urban renewal cannot follow closely under this development, causing the birth of many villages in the urban city. As is shown in the figure that the villages in the Shenzhen city are distributed quite densely.

Although the population growth rate in Shenzhen has gradually declined, there are still many young people, some of whom are single. These people are exactly the ones that we need to introduce into our co-living cluster, which can be effectively managed. And these young people have more chances to become the backbone of the country.

Status quo
From the urban skyline of Shenzhen, it can be seen that there are quite a lot of skyscrapers in Shenzhen, but the hidden villages underneath this city have become the dark side of the city.
14
The villages in the Shenzhen city are distributed widely. Under the development of the city, the population of this urban village is densely base status populated, the rent is low and the environment is bad. These problems The villages in Shenzhen city are called the “handshake buildings”, have many adverse effects on Shenzhen. The villagers in the villages have because the distance between the buildings is extremely narrow, complex structures, so the effective protection of the residents can not be making the transportation and management extremely inconvenient. achieved, which needs to be resolved.

The determination of the form
The layout of functions
The traffic space of the ground floor Based on the urban roads planning, the ground floor is marked out four site entrances and exits, and the roads that are throughout the community are planned with the central square as the center. These roads run through each unit group and create various roads atmosphere due to the various arrangements of the unit groups.
The central public space
The project takes the form of an arena, and the main road leading to this square connects the main roads of the city. The first circle around the square is mainly public service buildings. Then the community modules around the square are spread out in a staircase, and the roof and balcony of them can be connected with each other, just like the auditorium on the arena. The square is located on the main traffic trajectory, which is the only way for everyone to go every day.
The central public space is the focusing point of the whole community. All sights will be gathered here. At the same time, this place is also the intersection of the main roads of the venue. The square is open up to the city, which makes the square become a diversified gathering place.
Space diagram Residential space
The base is located in the Kangle Building in Puwei. The surrounding is relatively well developed and the selection of the site is suitable.
Dig a public area in the center of the site as a central square.
Promote a circle of public function space at the central square to serve as the central square.
The rest of the site serves as residential space.
According to the form of the arena, the central area of the residential area is lowered, and the surrounding area is elevated.
Based on existing urban roads, mark out the entrances and exits of the site and divide the residential areas.
Connect the roofs of each unit group into one, completing the form of the arena.
Increase the number of railings, plan roads and improve public spaces in the central square.
Decentralize the residential areas and form multiple residential units, allowing several small units to surround their own public spaces in groups.
16
The residential space can be divided into three levels, namely: small unit, unit group composed of several small units, and the whole community residential space surrounded by all unit groups. Each unit group has its own shared space, and each unit has a view towards the central square.
The public space of the roof The roof is the space which can highlight the theme form most. The roofs are linked into an integration and descend in the middle, just like the auditorium of the arena. The roofs, as the most secondary traffic space, have a broad view of the entire community. Although they are mainly used for entertainment, perhaps they can become a corridor for young people to find their goals in life.
17
SITE PLAN The shared space of each unit group is interoperable, and people can easily reach any public space and communicate with people there. Similarly, the connected roof has the s a m e v i e w, m a k i n g t h i s place become a true shared community. In this community, every step of the journey can lead to the intersection with people of different human images and the establishment of connection. The generation of the collision of ideas and the birth of opportunities are imperceptibly happening in this community. 1ST FLOOR PLAN 18
19
The analysis of the public space in the community
The main roads intersect at the central square and divide the community into four parts.
The corridor of the roof connects the scattered shapes and runs through every corner.
The vision of all units is concentrated in the center, making each resident seem to be competing with each other at all times.
The analysis of each unit group’s public space
The roads of the blocks connect every shared space, and there is competition as well as close contact between the residents.
Most of the first floor of the community and the central square are public spaces. When people enter the community and walk down into the square, they will feel like they are entering the arena. The atmosphere of the whole square will become excited and active because of the focus of the surrounding houses and different people will have different feelings. Some people will feel the trial, and others will feel that they are showing themselves. Some will be motivated and others will push themselves. Anyway, every time when they go through the center of the square, they will complete a self-transformation.
20
There are public spaces in the unit group, which serve the residents the small units in the group and can also be opened to people who don’t live in the unit group.

As a factor of introduction for each small unit, the bay window not only enriches the internal space of the small unit, but also increases the diversity of the small unit, and it also provides a change for the elevation of the unit group. The bay window, as a meditation space for each small unit, can provide a view towards the central square, making people in a relatively quiet atmosphere where people can do what they want and think more easily. The bay window became an important element of the project’s main theme, and it was an opening from the arena. Inside the window is its own world, while outside it is another world. The bay window has become a breakthrough in the world of discovering itself and discovering a broader world.

The scheme is located in Qingdao, aiming at providing Qingdao with a city complex with various functions. First, it lists the functions, then arranges them in the podiums and towers of the complex according to people's needs. Finally, according to the texture of the city, it cuts the blocks to create a landmark city complex belonging to Qingdao.
The project is selected on a site which is located in the west side of the Qingdao Beer Museum and the south side of Qingdao Tianmu City. The buildings around the site are complex and so it is a suitable site.
Concept
Qingdao is a city with many famous reputations. In this city, “island” is an extremely important element. The project breaks down the traditional shopping malls, arranges them in the form of islands, and arranges the traffic cores surrounded by islands, introduces the outdoor pedestrian street element, and arranges the pedestrian street with the traffic core vertically so as to increase the walking experience in the building.

Located on a coastal side of Qingdao Polar Ocean World, the project aims to provide visitors with a resort hotel which is closer to the sea. sea.
Concept
The tides rise and fall, and the coast is like a beating rhythm. This project introduces the elements of the piano keys to build the hotel room on the sea and support it with a slender column below, so that the room part seems like it is floating on the sea, which is like a piano forest and seems that the sound of the waves is played by these piano keys.

Site Analysis
Problem Advantages: The site is located on the coast and the Northwest has a beautiful Laoshan, and in any point of the site has a good view, with a good natural landscape. The transportation is very convenient. Around the entertainment facilities, large flow of people. The surrounding economic development is conducive to the development of Meerzeit Hotel here.
Disadvantages: The site did not make good use of the natural landscape, the beautiful coastline was not fully utilized, and it felt a bit desolate near the site. There are beautiful reefs on the coast, but there is no way to go straight and feel the nature. there are a lot of hotels here, and the competition pressure is great. Subway Line Analysis
