The Thirst Project is a non-profit organization whose aim is to bring safe drinking water to communities around the world where it is not immediately available. The Thirst Project collects money and builds wells all across the continent of Africa where villages do not have immediate drinking water.
letter from
the president Especially with everything that has occurred this month, I want to start off by saying I hope you all are staying safe, doing well, and keeping warm. Due to the winter storm, we postponed our 2/22 meeting, pushing officer interviews back. However, we will still have an informational meeting, and will conduct interviews soon. Despite the dent in our plans, this month we elected our 2021-2022 President: Bidushee Khan! I can’t wait to see her serve, and I’m certain that she will accomplish incredible things. Additionally, we participated in Children of the Future monthly challenge and wrote Valentine’s Day cards to the kids of St. Jude as a service project. As always, thank you for your commitment to bettering your community.
