Arriving in a new city or state, a person faces a great challenge. In a short time person needs to adapt, find new friends, get used to, and not destroy themselves morally. Therefore, the place of habitation must push the person. We took this fact into account and emphasize solving the problem. Based on our experience, we have introduced into our project exactly what we always lacked during our residence in dorms - a quality space for getting to know people. The main function of our dormitory is to ensure that the building plan itself contains the appearance of places that will provoke people to get acquainted. And thus introduce a friendly climate to the residents. But at the same time, a person needs privacy. Every year we see how people and we try to get a single room because it is known that everyone needs time to be alone with themselves. That’s how we came up with the idea.

We did not want to create a building that would fulfill only one purpose - the dream. We wanted this building to serve students even from other dormitories around the clock as a place of work, rest, and study, and to support the emergence of new own activities or interpersonal relationships. There is a large space for co-working and a room for hobbies - art and music room. This space is commonplace and has an amazing view - its extension is a large green terrace planned as an internal courtyard for the dormitory, immediately sticking up, and is the roof for the garage.

The town hall building received six floors, a basement and two courtyards. The height of the central tower became 70 meters, and chimes were installed on its top, to which an internal staircase of 180 steps was brought. The builders used marble and granite in the interior decoration. The granite-faced facade was decorated with sculptures by Jose Sousa Caldas and Henrique Moreira on the Portrelated topics of viticulture, industry and navigation. Therefore, the main challenge was for me to carefully reproduce all the elements of the main facade, and after modeling to arrange the lighting points so that the nobility and grandeur of one of the main buildings of the city were emphasized.
