2022 TRAILBLAZER
Bryce Deadmon was raised in Missouri City, Texas, and is the son of Eric and Nekita Deadmon. He attended Elkins High School for his first two years of high school and went on to finish and graduate from Ridge Point High
School. He attended Texas A&M University where he received his bachelor's degree in Sports Management in 2019 and his
MS degree in Marketing in 2021.
While at Texas A&M, Bryce was very active, exemplifying a true example of leadership. He served on the Board of
Executives for the NAACP Texas A&M
Chapter. He also served as the Political
Action Chairman. He mobilized and implemented voter registration programs on campus and educated members and students about politics within the nation, state, and local community. He served as a team leader on the Texas A&M Track and Field team for three years, where he, along with 12 other teammates were responsible for not only enforcing team rules but serving as a powerful voice for the 100+ members on the team. In addition to this, he competed on the Texas A&M Track and Field team from 2015-2021, earning 5 All American Honors and a spot on the Southeastern Conference Honor Roll twice. To cap off his time at Texas A&M, Bryce spoke at his 2021 commencement ceremony and made history as the first person from the MS Marketing program to do so. After graduating from Texas A&M with his masters, he went on to compete at the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics where he received a bronze medal in the 4x400m mixed relay and a gold medal in the 4x400m relay. Currently, he is living in the greater DFW area, training professionally as a track and field athlete for Nike and working toward the upcoming track and field season where he hopes to be competing at this summers’ World Championships. Always looking toward the future, he plans to use his platform to help create a nonprofit in the South Houston area that is centered on sports. In conjunction with that, he plans to utilize his master’s degree to help businesses evolve through the creation of new products using specific and popular brands. Some of Bryce’s hobbies include reading, cooking, shopping, and meeting new people. One of the top things on his bucket list is to take a solo trip around the world. Bryce is a proud member of the Nu Delta Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.
