Carl and Cathy Landry are the proud owners of Reserve Salon and Spa. Cathy’s dream of being a hairstylist and salon owner started in high school, where she would braid hair to earn additional income. After graduation, Cathy wanted to further her knowledge in cosmetology and really learn the business. She attended Vanguard Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology in New Orleans, LA, where she was constantly praised for constant and consistent bookings and keeping clientele happy. Because of her work ethic, she was offered a job before taking her state boards. She knew that this was her calling. After passing the required state boards, she went on to work in a salon. While employed, Cathy learned the ins and outs of running a successful business, leading her to work for herself. She began to pray and share her dreams of salon suite ownership with her husband, Carl. Being in agreement, both loving entrepreneurship wanted to offer that same level of independence to other thriving stylists. After moving to Houston, TX, in 2019 from New Orleans, the Landrys opened two Reserve Salon and Spa locations in Tomball and Cypress, Texas. With the pandemic and Winter Storm Uri, the start was not a smooth road, but with strategic marketing, prayer, and persistence, Reserve Salon and Spa is a successful salon. This is the place where any stylist can jump-start or further their career in an upscale atmosphere to provide first-class service to their clientele. The Landrys love the beauty business! Reserve Salon and Spa is a diverse salon that prides itself on making everyone feel welcome in a warm, friendly, and clean environment.
