Dr. Angela L. Jones is a licensed professional counselor and public speaker. She currently serves as the lead therapist and founder of Get Centered

Counseling & Consultants, LLC and CEO of The Limbic Plan®, LLC. With over 14 years of working in the mental health industry, Dr. Jones has been able to provide mental health care services on a clinical and administrative level in order to improve care at one of the largest mental health organizations in the state of Texas.

In her private practice, she provides therapy to adult clientele with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and sexual concerns such as sexual dysfunctions, behaviors and addictions.

In addition, she is frequently invited to conferences and universities to deliver lectures on various aspects of sexual and mental health.

Dr. Jones created a weekly planner in 2021 entitled The Limbic Plan® that aims to help people stay organized and provide tools and coping skills to help people who may be suffering with mental health issues. This planner is one of the first to incorporate so many mental health elements while providing the consumer a streamlined way to obtain their personal goals all while remaining organized. Prior to her private practice and revolutionary planner, Dr. Jones was able to deliver therapeutic and psychoeducational services to inmates detained in The Harris County Jail, Bellaire Behavioral Hospital, and within The Harris Center. Dr. Jones has presented at Texas Counseling Association, School Counselors Conference, Region 4 General Curriculum Institute, Southwest Educational Research Association, and American College Counseling Association National Convention. In addition, she has been invited to speak at the Metamorphosis Conference, Houston Black Leadership Institute, THRIVE: Responsive Education Solutions, and many local Houston churches and schools to discuss mental health and sexual issues. Dr. Jones currently has a segment every Wednesday on Fox 26 entitled “Angela After Dark” on Isiah Factor Uncensored, where she speaks about sexual and relational matters for over two years and running. In addition, she was on the Geto Boyz Reloaded podcast in 2021 where she spoke with rap legends Scarface and Willie D about her specialization. She was a co-host KTSU IMPACT Houston Live for a year on 90.9 FM where she and her cohosts used this platform to discuss hot topics that were relevant to the listeners and community. Dr. Jones is a member of American Counseling Association, Texas Counseling Association, Houston Counseling Association, Houston Association for Marriage & Family Therapy, Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society, and proudly serves as a board member for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. She is currently a Certified Sex Therapy Candidate at the Texas Sex Therapy Institute. Dr. Jones has obtained scholarships and honors that include, but are not limited to: CEO to Watch, Emerging Scholars Honors Program, International Study Abroad Scholarship, Counselor Education Special Scholarship, Houston Game Changer, and Who’s Who Amongst American Students. Dr. Jones currently lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband, Dallas Jones; her daughter, Zoe Jones; her son, Dallas Etienne Jones; and her dog, Ivy Jones.
