Patrice Lanette Allen was born to Clothild and Lawrence Allen Jr. on November 13, 1986.

Born first, she was also the only sister to her three brothers Lawrence III, Alim and Ali. She spent most of her early years with her grandmother, Dr. Alma Allen, State Representative of District 131, as she served the state of

Texas with her education expertise.

After graduating from Jones High School, she attended Baylor University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Following, she received her Master’s in Counseling Education from the University of Houston – Victoria, her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A&M University and she recently graduated in May 2021 from Lamar University with her Master’s in Business Administration.

Patrice’s professional journey consists of teaching the English Curriculum at the historic Phillis Wheatley High school for 7 years. She advanced her career on campus and served as Literacy Instructional Specialist for 3 years and Campus Discipline and Campus Safety Coordinator simultaneously for 1 year. Among her various duties and assignments, she gained experience which ultimately led to her being selected to serve James Deady Middle School as an Assistant Principal for the 2020-2021 school year. She now serves as the Senior Manager of the HISD G-Unity Business Lab Project. Within this role, she has crafted the entrepreneurial mindset of young scholars in underserved campuses by providing resources, mentors and a developed curriculum that was tremendously successful in one year. Through this unique role in education, she has been able to fulfill her mission of educating the whole child. She is the CEO of Dr. Patrice Allen Enterprises, LLC where she consults educational entities, develops curriculum and serves as a motivational speaker.

Her future aspirations consist of becoming a superintendent of a large urban school district in Texas as well as being the President of the United States. She is the proud mother of her son Jaedis Brown, 13, her daughter Jaelauryn Brown, 8 and her son Jaeson Brown, 3.
