A.C. Crab Feed

Every year near the beginning of the month of March, Key Club helps their Kiwanis with their Kiwanis Crab feed! Other than members from our club, players from ACHS Baseball helped served along with other adults. The event started around 6am and ended close to 10:30 pm. Key Clubbers came in and out during the event at random times. We helped set up, make/ prepare the food, loaded the food, wash the dishes, and cleaned up. The event was very fun and wasn’t as wet or raining as it was last year.

Canyon Oaks Father Daugh Dance

Canyon Oaks Elementary held a wonderful event in their multi use room that brought fathe daughters together for a dance. Taking pictures of families and seeing their excitement and es was tooth-achingly sweet and it brought a smile to my face as well. Around 4 o’clock we setting up: putting flowers together, setting up lanterns, balloons, the photo booth, etc. It w setting it up and attempting to make a flower from paper and it was even more enjoyable t the decorations. We popped balloons, ate leftovers, cleaned up, and being loud (just being teenagers). It was a great night overall for the participants and the volunteers. - Isabel Naomi Radana American Canyon

Steam Night

On February 3, several of our Key Clubbers went to Matthew Turner Elementary to volunteer at the local Steam Night. Steam Night is a science, technology, and engineering based event. Our members ran multiple booths to expose the young to fun science and technology-centered activities.
