MEMBERS Novato Green and Clean Day I was actually happy about this event, even though we were just cleaning Pioneer Park out. We got to see what was hiding beneath the scattered trash along the whole park. True nature. We picked trash from bottles to scraps of candy wrappers. Since our Kiwanis advisors were there along with us, we dug up the weeds with them. By the end of the event, the park looked great! There was no soda cans on the tables or wrappers in the playground park anymore. It was amazing that we could clean out this park and make it look spotless again. Juliet Aguilera , Novato

As we alm from streamers to table covers. We also put out the food, wrapped and announced awards for each of the scout decorated cakes. Aft vanished along with them the Key Club volunteers helped tear of carrying heavy objects around small energy brimmed children was ful one both for the scouts and the volunteers.

These “dinners” are to commemorate outstandver, sometime they are also to commemorate those who will be most always do, the volunteers who attended setup the event, d utensils in tissue paper, and gave out cakes to be decorated ter the speeches and awards were handed out and the food had ff table covers, return tables and chairs to their places. March o
My first time volunteering at the March of Dimes event turne an hour of searching and looking around I finally was able to ma confused, since it was my first time volunteering at a public event was very ironic when I got to the checkpoint I was working at bec point, it was very fun to be able to cheer the walkers or runners o help. But it is okay because I was able to be a huge help by passin to have an amazing experience though I had that rough patch in t which is fantastic! My first experience at the March of Dimes was Dimes event!

of Dimes
ed out to be very fun and exciting. Although I did get lost, after ke it to the venue. When I got to the actual venue I was very t. Luckily I got the help from my club officers and members. It cause that was the place I got lost! When working at the checkon. Even though I personally think my cheering wasn't a big ng out water, refilling snacks and all that jazz. All in all I was able the beginning. I met a few new people which I now talk to s a blast and hopefully I am able to go to next year's March of Christina Lam, Armijo

All About the Divisio Divisi The Division Leadership Team is made up of the Lt. Governor, the Executive Assistants, News Editor, Coordinators, and the Presidents! It’s a huge team all working towards a greater division, amazing community service, and a better experience for the members that they serve! This month is featuring the Lt. Governors Assistants!
DNE - Amara Alcayde, Vanden Hello Ballers! I am the Division 8 News Editor for the 20152016 Term! I make these things; what your reading now! I turn in articles and visuals to the District so our division will be showcased. I also run the Division website and basically do anything that involves a computer and advertising about Key Club and Division 8!
on Leadership Team Last term I served as the Lt. Governor which was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I have a huge passion for Key Club and community service and absolutely love everything about Division 8. I am currently a Junior at Vanden High School. I love meeting and getting to know new people! In my free time I like to play guitar, crochet, and come up with new graphics. Also since my sister lives in South Korea I have a liking towards Korean culture and all the music and dramas that come with it! Overall, I love trying new things and expanding my knowledge of the world! If you ever have any new ideas or critiques about the newsletter or website please share them with me! I love to collaborate and share ideas with others, I am always working towards a better division and improvements on community service!
Make sure to check out next month’s Newsletter to learn all about the President’s of the clubs in Division 8 and also the Division Coordinators!!
EA - simran kaur, vanden Hey Ballers! My name is Simran Kaur, and I am one of your Executive Assistants for the 2015-2016 Key Club term! I am super excited to have been accepted into this position and I’m excited to see what this new year has in store for us! Outside of Key Club, I like long walks on the beach, longboarding around my neighborhood, and chillin’ with my homies. I love ice cream and Chinese food, but not together. I also love talking on the phone, so call me anytime! I am in charge of six out of the 12 schools in our divisionWill C Wood, Dixon, Mare Island Tech, Vanden, Fairfield, and Armijo. I am a liaison between our Lieutenant Governor and the clubs in our division, and I promote upcoming division events to the officers of my six clubs and help with the overall function of the division.

EA - Jack Rattanasith, Rodriguez As an Executive assistant, it is my job to help the Lieutenant Governor in any way possible. This includes contacting the schools that we are in charge of, planning events, giving presentations, etc. I encourage participation in events, both in my school's club, and others at division wide events. I also ensure that things flow smoothly at events and allow anyone to contact me for any questions. I am lucky to have another EA to collaborate with, it makes planning things a lot easier! I would consider myself to be a pretty swell person outside of Key Club. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, long romantic walks to refrigerator ( or any place with good food ) and getting to know new people. I am also Junior Representative for my local Key club at Rodriguez. It is a much smaller role than EA, and mainly just consists of keeping all Juniors in the club active and happy with what is going on. Although I don't nearly play as much as I used to, I still enjoy playing Pokemon with random people across the world in hopes of being the very best, like no one ever was.
DNE’SCLOSING MESSAGE Hello Ballers! I hope all of you got through AP, SAT, and all the other stressful tests! Finals are coming up soon, which means the end of the school year. The year went by so quick and soon another one will be right in front of us. Never forget to stop serving over the summer! Use this extra time as an opportunity to plan out the next school year and also fundraise to fund members for events like RTC and DCON. I hope that you enjoyed the Newsletter this month, and always remember to come to me with any ideas that you may have! I am super excited for the summer, and I hope to see all of you at all the Division events! Remember to send in those articles and visuals by the 10th of every month! Never stop domin8ing. With Love, Amara Alcayde
