LETTER FROM THE

EDITOR

Hi, Division 8!

THANKS FOR READING THE BILLIARD! So far this month has been extremely difficult due to the pandemic and the inequality facing the Black community. As youth, I truly believe that we can make change. The teens today are the people who are going to shape the future of tomorrow. I am inspired that our generation in particular isn’t afraid to speak out and I hope that this continues for eternity. Even with the pandemic as an obstacle and the hardships of 2020, we didn’t let it get in the way of addressing issues of inequality. This is truly motivating. Sadly, racism is apparent everywhere in society including, employment, wealth, education, etc. More than ever, it’s important for us to keep spreading as much hope, humanity, acceptance, and love during these times.
