Message From Your LTG How’s it Rollin’ Division 8 Ballers? The first month of the term has already passed! I can already tell that the term is going to go by in the blink of an eye. Although there aren’t any huge updates to share this month, I would like to thank each and every one of you for all of your hard work and dedication so far. Seeing you at the April DCM & Banquet was so nice and we had so much fun, I can’t wait for all that we have in store for us this term!

BENICIA: Officer Social
“
“
Our club had an officer social at the Benicia Community Park from 12:00-4:00pm. The social gave the old and new board a chance to bond together.
& Charity Miles Many Benicia members are continuing to bike, run, and walk in order to earn service hours through our Division wide-service event, Charity Miles. Besides earning service hours, members had lots of fun and also earned money for our preferred charities, UNICEF and March of Dimes. Over 18,000 total miles has been achieved by the whole division. In the month of March over 1,700 miles were achieved.
CHARITY SPOTLIGHT: The Eliminate Project
“
In 2010, Kiwanis International and UNICEF joined forces to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) worldwide. This historic initiative, called The Eliminate Project, will protect the lives of babies and mothers all over the globe and aims to help put an end to this cruel, centuries-old disease. It will also help pave the way for the delivery of other lifesaving services, such as clean water, nutrition and other vaccines.
