“Members knit scarves and hats for the homeless for the winter when it gets chilly.”

“First Key Club meeting after Club Rush with many new faces to the club!”

FHS CLUB

“Fairfield High School held a College and Career fair on September 26, 2017, where a variety of colleges from all over the country (including states such as Florida and Washington) came to show students what they had to offer. Big UCs showed up like UC Irvine, and small private colleges likewise such as Saint Mary's College of California. The Fairfield Key Club lent their support by helping set up, ushering visitors who were wandering around campus, greeting the colleges and careers who participated with a gift, and cleaning up the aftermath from this wonderful event. The event lasted about three hours, but there were members who helped for over 7 hours during the day. It was a huge turnout, making this a very successful event.” -JOEL JIMINEZ, FHS

“Produce Pipeline is an event that we do every Thursday in the summer. In downtown Fairfield there is a farmer's market every week. All the volunteers meet up and we ask the different vendors if they would like to donate any fruits or vegetables. We then take the donations to our table where we sort out which fruits and vegetables go where. Some volunteers sort the donations and other volunteers help vendors tear down their stands and tents. After everything gets sorted and cleaned up, our advisers drop them off at places like churches, homeless shelters, etc. where they can be used to help those in need. “ -JOEL JIMINEZ, FHS
