LETTER FROM THE LTG White Tigers, L-O-V-E I LOVE MY D-I-V!!! Fall Rally was amazing. It was so great being on stage and seeing my tiger cubs right in the center of the stands. I saw each and every one of you cheering your hearts out, and it made me so proud to be your Lieutenant Governor. Although we didn’t win the spirit stick, Fall Rally was still a success. We were able to donate $800 to PTP and buy District Secretary Cecilia Li at the auction. Thank you all so much for making my last Fall Rally so phenomenal. As many of you know, it has come to that time of year for us to elect a new Lieutenant Governor. In this case, we will be electing two Lieutenant Governors. If you are an underclassman and have the slightest bit of interest in running for LTG, please please please attend CTC. And if you have a friend who you think would be great for the position, or a friend who is on the fence about running, please encourage him or her to attend CTC. Here, potential elects will learn what it takes to be Lieutenant Governor and get a better feel for the role and its responsibilities. Lastly, out third annual Winter Chill is coming up. This is an amazing event in which we bond as a division in our pajamas. There will be hot chocolate, candy canes, and much more. It is super fun and is the event that made me fall in love with Key Club. There will be an interesting game of white elephant and it is a great event to spend time with your D16 ohana before we all part ways for the holidays! Roaring with Service, Mama Tiger Tyler Szeto

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Hey White Tigers! HOW WAS FALL RALLY? I really had an amazing time with all of you at Six Flags. It was really great to spend time with you and cheer together for the spirit stick.. Although we didn’t win it, I just had a blast screaming out loud, ending my last Fall Rally with the best Key Clubbers in the world. I really can’t wait to see you all at Winter Chill on December 20th where we will have games and movies and sweets and gifts. I hope to see you all there. This Newsletter is dedicated to Fall Rally and the events from the past month. I hope you enjoy! Sincerely, YeChan Lee Division 16 News Editor

FALL RALLY RECAP Here are some White Tigers’ thoughts about this year’s Fall Rally!

I really enjoyed fall really especially due to the fact that this was my last one! I was able to fully engage in the spirit session and essentially gave it my all. Even though we didn't win, I still had an amazing and memorable time. We didn't win the spirit stick, but it didn't matter. I wouldn't have wanted to spend my last Fall Rally with my white tigers any other way! We were truly White Tigers as we ROARED in the stands proudly representing our division.

I wasn’t really involved with key club events before but fall rally made me want to participate because I seen how much of a family we are, cheering and team work made us closer. Fall Rally has always been my favorite social event in Key Club and this year was very memorable. I met so many people from other divisions and received so many hugs. Although we didn't win the spirit stick, our spirit was definitely overflowing.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from Fall Rally. Honestly, I went to Six Flags for the rides at first. But when we started cheering, White Tigers blew my mind. Although we couldn’t win the spirit stick, I had a really great time.

I was really excited to go to Fall Rally especially because I hadn’t been able to go the year before. It was amazing for my last Fall Rally!

CLUB NEWS Key Club Helps Out At Boo Bash by Linda Lee, Valencia High

During the Boo Bash, Key Clubbers, like Kathryn Cunanan pictured above, helped out at various tasks, including game stations for the children.

On Friday, October 24, Valencia High School’s Key Club helped out at the Boo Bash, a Halloween event at Bridgeport Elementary School featuring music, food, games, and other entertainment. From 5—8pm, volunteers helped run the game stations and the coloring table for the children. The games were a fun way for children to win, and Key Clubbers also enjoyed themselves as they helped out at the stations. Many arrived at the event with their own creative costumes, which blended right in with the Bridgeport students! Throughout the Boo Bash, both elementary students and Key Club volunteers enjoyed Jersey Mike’s, pizza, and hot dogs, as well as some tasty treats from the bake sale. There was also a haunted house featured at the MPR. The Boo Bash was an awesome opportunity to give back to the local community and show Bridgeport Elementary our Key Club spirit. Thank you to everyone who volunteered at the event!
