all e really erved over Fall Rally m seeing from

tenant Gog Conference Lt.G and the might be n this DNEWS!

I just got back home from Fall Rally South and I’m in the process of cramming this newsletter, again. I must say, I’m a little depressed since this was my second and last Fall Rally. Of course I’ll be chaperoning next year (hopefully) but, it just wont have the same feeling. Anywho! As you go through this newsletter, you’ll notice how much more creative it is compared to my previous newsletters! Along with it being much, much, longer. I’ve added DIVIDERS this time! Pretty fancy, huh? I’ve also done something new this month which I didn’t do last month. (For other Tech/Bulletin Editors, this might be extremely helpful for you.) I struggled a lot with my previous newsletters because of the lack of articles and photos given to me. BUT! With the help of GOOGLE, I was able to create an ARTICLE SUBMISSION FORM. This makes it a lot easier for members to submit articles along with me knowing WHO send me the article, what the event was, and all the other information needed! I HIGHLY suggest you guys (editors) to do the same. It saves me A LOT of time. Also! I stopped using WORD to create my newsletters! I use Publisher/Photoshop now! Well, I really hope you enjoy my newsletter. :) - Kim Vo

Brian Meredith : San Marcos : President

We won the SPIRIT TROPHY! I couldn't believe that our spirit showed the way it did. Being our first year and all, it was really monumental and special for me to be there with my Smack. We represented ourselves and our division the best way we know. I loved the atmosphere that RTC had. The workshops were amazing because there was so much to take in. I loved the spirit that everyone had there. Shout out to our Jellyfishes and the Region 1+2!

Kenneth Johnson : Mission Hills : Bulletin Editor

At RTC we celebrated the spirit that all our Divisions share through spirit battles and cheer challenges. The seminars and workshops created better Key Clubbers in both Region 1 and 2. The talent show and dance battle, and do not forget the Chubby Bunny competition all were great ways of getting to know one another and also showing our division spirits. The dance was a great way to get close to members from all over the 2 regions, and also a great way to ease the spirit tensions.

Going into RTC, we were the underdogs. I was personally surprised at how many people from our division were there. Although we were tiny, we were super mighty! There is no doubt that the other divisions are JELLY of us right now. We came, we concurred and now we are basking in glory. If you liked RTC, you'll LOVE Fall Rally. Keep up the spirit Jellies! Your LtG, Executive Assistant, Editor, and most importantly DIVISIONAL SPIRIT COORDINATORS are super proud of you and I personally wouldn't want to be in any other "smack". ;)

After going over the itinerary for Fall Rally with the parents, we continued our DCM by going over new projects and events that the division can participate in. Then we went into groups so that we could make posters, practice cheers, and overall be better Key Club members getting ready for Fall Rally South! Tiffany-Amber Erolin : Orange Glen : Member

For this event I thought it'd be about learning cheers for the Fall Rally and getting to know more people in our division but it turned out differently then I thought sort of. I really liked it! I met a lot of new people which was really cool, we made posters for our division, and I got more info about the Fall Rally which was really helpful. This event was fun, The best part about it was that we all came together and met and we all did our "How Do You Feel?" cheer together. :)

AN S KE A U L NIS H O T A K Y KIW S WI U S O G C IN N OF P L E IO R H CAT ! LO HE DCM R OU Kenneth Johnson : Mission Hills : Bulletin Editor Getting pumped for Fall Rally South is an extremely intense process for us Jellyfish. We have to learn new cheers, practice those cheers to perfection, and make the best signs and posters; all so we can win that beautiful spirit trophy/stick for our Kiwanis advisor. This DCM and Spirit Meeting was particularly amazing due to the fact that I got to meet new Key Club members from all over our division, and get to know them before we battle other divisions with our spirit. We learned our super cool new cheers for Fall Rally, that will be our secret sting. Thanks to this meeting, when anyone asks me what time it is, I automatically respond with peanut butter -jelly time: no matter who I am talking to. That is part of being a devoted member of Key Club I suppose. Each DCM makes me a better Key Club officer for all of the members at my school. SWIM JELLIES SWIM!

Kenneth Johnson : Mission Hills : Bulletin Editor Fall Rally was exciting, to say the least. As it was my first and last Fall Rally, I felt especially attached to it. Spending countless hours planning it and not knowing what it exactly all meant was incredibly challenging for me, but the second I got there and saw countless Key Clubbers from all over, I knew instantly that it was all worth it. Sure, we didn't have a lot of time to go on rides due to the scheduling of the rally, but it was all worth it. At the rally we cheering tirelessly in attempt to win the Spirit Stick, and we came in 5th place: a wonderful achievement for our young division. I believe that we tried as hard as possible to win, and we did our best; which is admirable. We brought the "sting" and the "smack" that FRS called for, and we for sure made everyone "jelly".

Adrian Padilla : San Marcos : Member Fall Rally was awesome! I had a great time showing my JELLY SPIRIT! The atmosphere at the park was very inviting and the Spirit Battles were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G:) I had a great time even though we lost the Spirit Rally... The bus ride to the park was fun even though we practiced all the way to Six Flags for a loss. We all had enthusiasm and smiles on our faces, showing the hard work we put out there... We might have gone home without a spirit stick or our voices, but the fact that everyone came out happy shows our passion for D37East and our love for our community...

Ariel Reyna : San Marcos : Member Our Key Club officers and Advisor made our bus rides there and back really fun. I enjoyed learning the new cheers and getting to know more of the Key Clubbers. Fall Rally was a great experience and I can't wait for next year (:

Sarah Drake : San Marcos : Member "Fall rally was INSANE!!!! Much more Key Clubbers than I expected, it's just amazing to see how many minors can get involved in helping our communities. :) We brought so much jelly spirit that those other divisions were like ""whoa look at THOSE guys!"" Although we didn't win a spirit stick, we made it to the second round and we had awesome sportsmanship. And we went on rides afterwards!! So much fun, if you missed out this year, you've GOTTA go next year!

Gabby Wolcott : Mission Hills : Member I had an amazing time! I didn't think I could be anymore in love with Key Club until now. I loved all the spirit each division had and the part that impressed me most is that rivalries didn't get in the way of respect. We are all still friends no matter what colors or mascots. :)

Eugenia Madrigal : Orange Glen : Treasurer Waking up at 6 in the morning was not difficult at all, knowing that being at Six Flags was going to be worth it was what made it easy. From being spirited before we were on the bus to the last second of getting in the bus made me truly appreciate what the Jellies have to offer. The spirit session was amazing, loved waiting for it to get super quiet so I could call out cheers. Loved getting our Jellies pumped up even if it was just waving their thundersticks in a quiet manner. Walking around and representing what the Jellies were about made me so proud and put a ginormous smile on my face. Receiving compliments about how nice and great we were for a first year division proved what we were trying to accomplish. Seeing my Orange Glen Key Club members be super spirited from the beginning to the point where we were trying to take roll so we could leave warmed my heart knowing that the shy ones are getting out of their comfort zone and all for Key Club. So much happened in such a little time that just thinking about it all gives me the chills. I'm so in love with what we're accomplishing that I know d37E will always be known as a threat. <3

Caitlin Leamon : Escondido Charter : Spirit Coordinator Fall Rally was an amazing experience. I couldn't believe the amount of spirit my Jellies had! Even though we didnt win, we did awesome for a first year division. As sad as I am that I won't be there next year, I'm so happy we are a united division. You all make me so proud every day. :)

Yvette Solano : Orange Glen : Member I had such a great time. Even though we didn't win the Spirit Stick, I thought we still succeeded in showing that Jelly Pride <3 Being in the top 5 for most spirited considering we are a new division? WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT! (: I am so proud of us! From the beginning when we got there and we won those spirit battles, all I could think was "DANG! Other divisions better watch out! The Jellies are HERE!" :D ERR BODY JELLY<3 (:

Brian Meredith : San Marcos : President Fall Rally was absolutely amazing this year. A part of the reason that made is amazing was seeing how much work our district did for PTP, especially our Jellies! I met a lot of old friends again while also meeting new faces. It was great to see how Key Club can bring so many different people together. This is such a bittersweet moment since it is my last Fall Rally as a KC member!
