Within the context of this webinar, Latinamerican Germany alumni of all scientific fields as well as experts are going to discuss the different aspects of earthquakes. This webinar is a live-broadcast of the conference of the Freie Universit채t Berlin.

You are invited to join the sessions, to discuss vividly with the experts and to be part of conference. The speakers will speak in German, English, French and Spanish.

Three parts of the conference in Berlin will be broadcasted live: Thursday, October 24th, 16.00 until 18.00 o'clock (CEST): Earthquakes in Latin America as force for political or social change?

Friday, October, 25th 14.00 until 16.00 o'clock (CEST): Earthquake in Haiti (2010) and Argentina (1944) - Two Case Studies Saturday, October 26th, 13.30 until 17.15 o'clock (CEST): The Economic and Political Consequences of Earthquakes: Three Case Studies The only requirements for participation are an internet connection and cost-free registration in the Alumniportal community.
