My Approach | Marketing and The Market What makes Atlanta such a vibrant real estate market? It starts with the exceptional foundational elements within the region. The schools are nationwide leaders, it’s among the wealthiest counties in America, and it serves as a gateway to some of the best employment opportunities you can find anywhere; with incredible companies based in Atlanta’s Metro area. The housing market thrives within many walkable locations offering incredible shopping and dining around a listing of your choice.
When you represent a seller, what’s most important to you? Integrity is vital. I’ve had a 28-year career in real estate with relevant and transparent communications to my sellers — it’s a hallmark of my approach. Achieving the highest price at fair market value is always a goal, and my past sales are a benchmark, but I’m focused on the task at hand and the necessary requirements that need addressing prior to listing, they ensure a smoother process. I specialize in preparing homes for market, from small fixes to renovations, and have a network of resources — from contractors and sub contractors — to make sure every listing is beyond ready.
Any Insights you can share for Buyers within the Atlanta area?
I moved here with my family in 1970 and have been embedded in the close within the Metro Atlanta area for decades. My research and analysis is a culmination of many years spent in Atlanta’s most sought after locations helping buyers find the right home. Important factors like lot knowledge, equity and value, school systems and more; these are my strong suits and I’ve invested many years in becoming an expert on them. Also, I’ve witnessed first hand how areas shift and transition, and this insight is important for a buyer to understand.
What’s your primary focus when marketing a listing?
Audience exposure is crucial, but it needs to be the appropriate exposure. I also focus heavily on preparation and what needs to be done to a home prior to listing. It has to be perfect, I’m a firm believer in those details, and we will get it ready. Once there, we utilize Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties; and affiliations with Monica Parker & Company to ensure the right exposure, global and local, is achieved.
How have you adapted to the changing real estate market in this sought after region?
My history here matters. I am fortunate to be able to call on a vast referral network of contacts because of the time and effort I’ve put in the Atlanta Metro area. And throughout changing markets, clients service is always paramount and my focus on the has helped me adapt. I am heavily involved in this community and am able to leverage the knowledge of what’s on the horizon in each locale, it will only help to serve my clients even better in the future.
