Counting their blessings as well as precious fingers and toes, the labor and delivery staff of Magnolia Regional Health Center celebrated their first baby of the New Year on Friday. Weighing in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces and measuring 20 inches in length, Lincoln Issac Horne made his debut to the world at 4:37 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Greeted by his delighted parents, Letasha and Jonathan Horne, little Lincoln appeared calm, content and curious as he met relatives and friends. The fourth child and first son for the Burnsville couple, the bouncing baby has three older sisters – Kaydence, 10, Harper, 5, and Adalyn, 3. “I was in labor for a little over 12 hours,” said an exhausted Letasha. “The contractions began around 4:30 p.m. (Thursday) and he was born just after 4:30 a.m. this morning.” “I had him naturally and everything was good,” she added. A cook at 72 Express in Burnsville, the 29-year-old mom was all smiles as she held the wiggling infant. Named Lincoln for his father’s admiration of President
