Motorists can expect some traffic interruptions this week as work continues at the Five Points intersection east of Corinth. Beginning Monday and continuing for several days, the utility relocation work will require the closing of the west leg of the intersection on Kendrick Road. Alcorn County and Cook Coggin Engineers recommend motorists plan to take an alternate route. “Other segments of the intersection will be affected later as the work progresses,” said Johnny Crotts of Cook Coggin.
