The first scrambles were held at Hillandale Country Club before moving to Shiloh Ridge. Over 60 scholarships have been provided through proceeds of the scramble. A scholarship in the name of Owen B. Nash had been casting the lone “no” vote on transfer requests as they appeared before Nash the board, but this week the first district representative had a change of heart. “I have been voting against transfers in hopes that we as a board would address the declining enrollment problem in our district, but it has been to no avail,” said Nash following the Monday board meeting. “At this point, I think we need to start talking about restructuring the county school district.” Nash believes the declining Please see NASH | 2
