TWO EXCITING, SPIRIT FILLED WORSHIP SERVICES EACH SUNDAY MORNING! Our hope at Tate Baptist Church is for you to worship God with others in a genuine way through a service that speaks your heart language. This is why we have two different services, each with a different style.
8:30 a.m. – THE GATHERING
Come worship with us in our contemporary service which meets in the Sanctuary. The service will be led by a praise band and vocal team using current songs of praise. Connect with other believers. Belong to a community seeking to follow Christ. Understand what God's word says. Believe God is who He says. Worship the One who gave His life for you. Come and see what we're about, and be a part of this growing group of worshippers.
10:45 a.m. TRADITIONAL WORSHIP SERVICE
This worship experience is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. The church family will meet in the Sanctuary and will enjoy traditional hymns, contemporary praise choruses, multi-media, and stirring choir presentations. **While the music does differ between services, our Pastor does preach the same sermon. It is also important to note that while the style of music between the traditional and contemporary service is different, all music used is doctrinally sound and aims to bring glory to God. After a time of singing, children (up through the fourth grade) in both services are dismissed to attend The Zone – a fun and energetic teaching time designed just for kids and led by the children’s ministry team.
