BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL AWARD Jesse Cardon
There are few people who are as passionate about businesses in Spanish Fork, the city and the chamber as Jesse Cardon. He has served for the last two years as a member of the executive board of the chamber. Additionally, he runs a very busy business that has brought numerous jobs to the city, chairs the city planning commission, and, in his spare time, ran for city council.
Jesse is constantly giving back to the community he calls home. Jesse said of living and working in Spanish Fork, “Before we even moved here, we were committed to not just living in Spanish Fork, but being a part of keeping it a great place to live, work, play and raise a family.”
LEGACY BUSINESS AWARD (over 15 years) Macey's
In 1947, Walt Macey and Dale A. Jones started the "Save-A-Nickel-Market" in Rose Park, Utah. From these humble beginnings, Macey's grew from a small store into a multi-store chain through providing personalized service and genuine old-fashioned friendliness.
After being purchased by Associated Food Stores in 1999, Macey's continued to be a destination for thousands of Utah families looking for a great deal on groceries.
Macey's team members are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and are constantly striving to make sure the guests are finding what they need. Team members are always looking for ways to make the shopping experience fun with things like samples, Kid's Candy Carnival and tailgating events, just to name a few.
One event people wait for all year long is the Gigantic Case Lot Sale that makes Macey's the place to buy the case! All these factors and more are what help Macey's provide a happy shopping experience for guests both young and old. Macey's is truly a pillar of our community.

EMERGING BUSINESS OF THE YEAR Compassion Mobility
When Robert and Tonya Giesbers hear “impossible,” they see it as a challenge to make it possible. Their passion to help their customers gain their mobility with transportation is contagious.
Compassion Mobility opened its doors in 2021. In a short time, they have made a huge impact in the chamber and in our community.
On top of running a thriving business, Tonya delivers Meals on Wheels to the senior citizens of Spanish Fork, volunteers on weekends at events that involve people with disabilities, and recently joined the chamber’s board of directors to share her talents of marketing through helping expand the vision and mission of the chamber.
Tonya and Robert will continue to be pioneers in their industry while being true examples of how to successfully merge the passion for your business with your community.
COMMUNITY ACTION AWARD Fellas Chop Shop
The Community Action Award honors the partnerships and organizations that leverage their resources, expertise and talent to make a positive impact in the community. Since joining the chamber, Fellas Chop Shop has embodied what it means to be a part of a community.
On Veteran’s Day each year, it has provided free services for active and retired veterans. In 2021, the business provided 94 veterans with services as part of this effort. They have offered discounts to those service men and women who put their lives on the line each day to show their gratitude for their sacrifice.
Owner Mersadies Reber has also stepped up in many ways to help and support the chamber. She filled a vacant board position and has participated in sidewalk sales, the Main Street Trick or Treat event and other activities.
Business and technology solutions for the new normal.
