At the turn of the 19th century, it’s estimated there were nearly 200 brass bands in Utah. Many pioneer companies brought their own bands with them across the plains. Nearly every town boasted its own “town band”. They played for dances, baseball games, stake conferences and civic functions. Utah Premiere Brass is proud to continue this rich tradition.
In addition to bringing wonderful brass band music to our community, Utah Premiere Brass is committed to supporting local school music programs. We invite you to make a contribution to the Provo City School District Foundation at this QR code or link. Every dollar you contribute will go to the UPB Provo Elementary School Music Fund and will be used to support kids receiving their first musical instruments.
