Madison Medical Center is already known for significantly lower wait times for ER services, and these new scanning devices will only serve to enhance the speed at which technologists can assist patients. But perhaps more importantly, these new scanners are capable of producing incredibly detailed images, which allow doctors to provide better diagnoses for patients. Even the operation of the equipment is designed to increase patient comfort, as technologists control the devices from a tablet, allowing them to be near patients to assist with physical positioning or even help reduce anxiety. In addition, these devices include exclusive technology that automatically optimizes the radiation level specific to individual patients.
