No animals are killed just because they are unwanted. BARL provides medical care, food, and housing for these animals. The League also seeks to reduce the number of unwanted animals through education regarding the value of spaying and neutering. All League animals are spayed or neutered. Spay/neuter is available to the elderly and low income families at low cost.
