welcome DOUGLAS KIRKHAM

Workers Lifestyle Group is excited to welcome Douglas Kirkham as the newest member of the team. Douglas is our new Chief Operating Officer, reporting to our CEO, Morgan.

Douglas brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in various destinations like Adelaide, Cairns, hotels in Sydney and even a resort in Vanuatu. With a background in both the hotel/ accommodation industry and the hospitality industry, Douglas wears his passion for delivering great service on his sleeve.

Douglas has always been drawn to the hospitality sector for the community-based nature of clubs. It allows him to deliver real outcomes to real people. As a passionate professional, he loves being of service and is pleased to be part of our team.

In his own words, Douglas says, “I’m delighted to be here and it’s a privilege to serve the members.”

Douglas is a committed family person who deeply values his time with his loved ones. He tries to dedicate as much of his spare time to his family and friends, to offer personal service to those he cares about. Douglas also enjoys bicycle riding as a hobby that provides solitude and time to think.

In true club fashion, his favourite meal is a good Chicken Schnitty!

Douglas has ties to Workers that go back decades. He was personally selected to open the Travelodge at Workers Sports 24 years ago. In a poetic twist of fate, he has returned to Blacktown, bringing his wealth of experience and passion for service to Workers. We are looking forward to working with him.
