Welcome A word from Michael Xylas.. The 2017 Selling season has produced exceptional results so far, with auction clearance rates remaining high and property prices soaring. There is still a shortage of houses in our area for growing families, where the demand is continuously pushing up these values. Competition is also becoming even stiffer for apartments with prices in the cheaper suburbs surging well above Sydney’s average median prices. As we come into winter, some vendors may consider holding off till spring when the flowers are out and they feel more people will be looking. When in fact, the best time to sell is when your property is presented to the market with the least competition for prospective buyers. If you really want to get top dollar you should consider selling in winter and don’t worry, buyers won’t let a little cold scare them from the home of their dreams, it just might be yours they are looking for. Overall this buoyant market is positive for those who have invested in bricks and mortar and is set to continue. 2
