A message from your General Manager Welcome to the July & August Edition of our What’s On Guide. Over the last few months, the builders have been busy making changes to our Family Room, Gaming Room and Terrace. I’m sure you’ll agree the changes have made an impact and we look forward to seeing our members and guests enjoy our new look. The most dramatic change has been to our Terrace which now has the capability to be fully enclosed, thereby, enabling us to take function bookings all year round – even on the chilliest of evenings, our new air conditioning system will keep you toasty. Earlier in the year, we held our first Disco Bingo which is hosted by Mel & Kaz – what started off as humble beginnings in the Family Room has now grown so big in popularity, we have now moved into the Café. Why not get your friends together to play Disco Bingo – a modern twist on traditional Bingo. This fun filled evening is held on the 2nd Friday of each month from 7:30pm. Dancing is not compulsory, but I bet you’ll find yourself singing along and dancing in your seat. Love the Music from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s ? Love Dancing ? Then our Disco Party is for you. Join our DJ for the best dance hits from 8pm on the first Saturday of each month. After many years, Live Music is set for a comeback at the Bowlo with the best Tribute Bands here to entertain you. The Kick INXS Show will feature in July followed by the Last Stand Chisel Barnes Show in August. In September, October and November we will be hosting the Born Jovi Show, The 80’s Flashback Show and everyone’s favourite The One Hit Wonders. All of the Tribute Bands are free and will be held on the third Saturday of the month. Our Panther Kids enjoyed their first Kids Bingo and Kids Disco in the April school holidays – due to popular demand both events will be returning for the July School Holidays. Get in quick to get your tickets – numbers are strictly limited and sure to sell out. For the last 2-years our Seniors have enjoyed their quarterly Show and Luncheon with popular artists gracing our imaginary stage – Warren Williams and Band will be performing for our 2018 Christmas In July Luncheon and the December Christmas Party on the 3rd will be rockin’ with a Sixties Singalong featuring Bobby Benton. The Seniors Show is great value for only $25 which also includes a 2-course luncheon. Tickets are now on sale for our Seniors Christmas Party. See you around soon! Kathy 2
