Got Lunch! Laconia, they could do something about hunger in the city. August 20 marked the final weekly delivery for year two of the program, founded last year by resident John Walker and Assistant Pastor Paul Gile with help from the church and Lakes Region Better Together. Got Lunch! was
a solution to a problem that Walker identified after reading that as many as twothirds of the city’s school children come from homes poor enough that they qualify for free or reduced price lunches.
