Melbourne City Guide After availing cheap flights to Melbourne, I needed a person or a website, which could guide me in regard to roaming about the Melbourne city. What I realized in the city of Melbourne was; it was quite easy to organize the tour ourselves, without the need of a tour planner. I usually like to experience new cities all by my own, without any prior information, as I feel it is quite adventurous. But, the city of Melbourne is a tourist spot, wherein you need minimal planning. My tour was 7 days long, so I had considerable amount of time roaming around the city.
Firstly, I just roamed around the city for a day, without keeping around a particular land mark or location. It was just amazing, simply surfing the city through different transport modes or by walk itself was a wonderful experience. The next day, I distinguished a few places, which were to be visited in the night and in the morning. I rushed to the zoo on the second day, after my breakfast. I had an awesome experience over there. Next, I planned to visit a location which is less tiring and more soothing. I then went to Shrine of Remembrance, which helped me re-gather my energy because of the peace around it. Later, I planned to visit one or two more attractions from the city, by the late evenings. During the dinner time periods, I preferred roaming about different dinner avenues, which were on offer in the city. I tried out a few bars and pubs, reputed restaurants, etc and I was damn satisfied with the taste of food and hospitality in their restaurants. The pubs and bars were just too good, to bring out the party animal in me. Since, I saved considerable amount of money through cheap flights to Melbourne, I partied harder and roamed across many beautiful and attractive tourist spots.
